Description

The Staff Accountantworks under the supervision of the Financial Analysis Manager, ensuring the accuracy of the financial data being reported is in accordance with general accounting rules and standards. This position maintains financial reports, records, and general ledgers; prepares and analyzes budgets; and performs general bookkeeping.

Responsibilities
  • Manage revenue database systems
  • Prepare and distribute weekly revenue reports and provide support to the sales team.
  • Perform weekly revenue reconciliations.
  • Weekly revenue analysis, metric reporting and commentary to support the weeks' revenue results.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly revenue and expense reports to field.
  • Prepare revenue, indirect expense accruals and other journal entries.
  • SAP general ledger expense analysis.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes.
  • Provide support to senior management via monthly meetings to review their expenses for accuracy.
  • Support and assist Procurement department.
  • Adhoc revenue and expense reporting where needed.
  • Generate PowerPoint presentations as needed.
  • Assist in special projects and adhoc requests as needed.
  • Carry out other duties as appropriate and as assigned by his/her Manager.
Education
  • College Degree with Accounting major and/or 3-5 Accountant experience
Experience
  • 3-5 years Accountant Experience
  • Transportation / Logistics industry experience a plus
  • Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups) and Access
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced/demanding environment
  • Strong computer & analytical skills
  • Candidate should be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

To support state laws, the base pay range for this role is $65,906 - $79,912. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on various factors such as job-related knowledge, and relevant skills and experience.
