Bonuses may be prorated based on schedule. ~ 40 Hours/week, Sunday - Thursday, Day shift ~ Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) isrequired We are seeking a Behavioral Health Clinicianto join our passionate and dedicated care team of MaineHealth Behavioral Healthat Spring Harbor for our Adult Unit. Fast paced, challenging work for the right clinician who enjoys working with a multi-disciplinary team. This is a Sunday through Thursday position with a focus on groups and as needed individual counseling TheBehavioral Health Clinicianis a position for the professional social worker/clinical counselor that involve the evaluation of psychosocial needs of patients/clients and their families and provision of diagnostic/preventive and treatment user services including individual,familyand group therapy. TheBehavioral Health Clinicianworks in collaboration with other health/mental health professionals and provides consultation to the treatment team regarding patient/family social and environmental needs.This work is performed under general supervisionin accordance withinstitutional and social work/clinical counselor policies. Set on 50 private acres,MaineHealth Behavioral Health at Spring Harbor, is southern Maine's only private psychiatric treatment and recovery center. Our inpatient programs for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults providehope for those who suffer from a variety of mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders (mental illness and substance use), as well as Maine's only hospital treatment unit for youth who experience both mental illness and a developmental disorder, such as autism. We are fortunate to have a unique collaboration withMaine Medical Center, which allows us to offer the most complete array of psychiatric treatment, physician-training, and medical-research programs north of Boston. Summary Level I:The role of Behavioral Health Clinician I, working under a conditional license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions. The counselor is also responsible formaintainingclinical records, collaborating with community providers, andparticipatingin team meetings to ensure effective treatment and discharge planning.The Behavioral Health Clinician Iwill be under direct clinical supervision to work towards independent licensure. Level II:The role of Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education:Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field License/Certifications:Level I:LMSW-cc, LCPC-c, or LMFT-c from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR).Level II:Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR) Experience:Level I:Behavioral health experience includinginternshipprior to becoming a conditionally licensed clinician.Level II:At least two years of behavioral health experience including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician.
