DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will engage in a range of entry-level tasks aimed at cultivating your technical skills and expertise within the specialized domain of Survey and Engineering Technologies. Responsibilities will be assigned in detail by a supervising technical professional, who will also review your work both during the process and upon its completion to ensure it meets quality standards, adheres to technical specifications, and contributes to your professional development. This role is structured as a one-year training program, specifically designed to equip you with the necessary technical competencies to advance within the District Survey Team. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time upon successful completion of probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Allentown. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $40,685.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- An associate degree in surveying, drafting, designing, civil, or any other appropriate field of engineering technology.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires possession of a valid driver's license.
