The candidate should have knowledge and education to perform electronic troubleshooting and subsequent repair to electronic assemblies and sub assemblies by removing and replacing circuit components, either through hole or surface mount. Must have an excellent soldering skills and bench level experience working with electronic components that have been pulled off the aircraft (or other structure) for repair in the back shop. Candidate must also be flexible with working overtime, a team player, have a positive attitude, and be willing to take on other tasks as needed. The compensation range for this role is $29.04 - $33.88 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors including but not limited to: minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, and location. Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. Able to interpret blueprints, engrg docs and use precision measuring tools. Proficient operation of all tools/equip in the dept incl glass bead & carboblast machines. Must possess basic understanding of shop math. 2 years experience in one of the following or other related experience: Sheetmetal, hydraulic overhaul, electrical/electronic harness buildup, electrical systems troubleshooting, battery servicing, APU removal, installation, and servicing.
Position Purpose:
Under moderate supervision, repair and overhaul internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies and components in accordance with Gulfstream Repair Station requirements. Job Description
