LOCATION OF (1) POSITION(S) TO BE FILLED: TENNESSEE WILDLIFE RESOURCES AGENCY, DAVIDSON COUNTY Qualifications Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in business management, or other related acceptable field and 3 years of relevant experience. Seven years of increasingly responsible full-time professional licensing or sales experience of which at least one year must be supervisory experience. Three years as a Licensing Manager Overview Under general direction, is responsible for professional management work of considerable difficulty assisting in oversight of hunting and fishing licensing systems; management of licensing staff; and performs related work as required. An employee in this class functions as the Assistant Director of the Licensing division for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. The work involves serving as the liaison between third party licensing solution vendors and the agency; oversight of all REAL system components including quota hunt programs; license agent programs and reporting; game check processes; license issuances; and boat registrations and renewals. This class differs from the Licensing Director in that the incumbent of the latter directs all Statewide licensing programs and staff. This class differs from the Licensing Manager in that an incumbent of the latter functions as the supervisor over sales within the licensing division. Responsibilities 1. Oversees the daily operation of the Agency's REAL (Remote Easy Access Licensing). Communicates with the vendor, Agency staff, and the public, creates and revokes user accounts, and monitors weekly Automatic Clearing House sweeps. 2. Collaborates with the Licensing Director to develop long range goals for the division. Analyzes system and workflows for potential improvements. Develops plans for increased functionality of system. Analyzes licensing trends and create strategies for increasing public license purchases. 3. Ensures all financial transactions are completed properly and accurately each week. Ensures all on hand inventory is accurately and efficiently maintained. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of Quota Hunt data, financial transactions, and supporting documentation. 4. Conducts audits of REAL system users to ensure separated users no longer have access and active users have appropriate access in accordance with Agency and State rules and policies. 5. Troubleshoots REAL system issues and system improvement needs. Enters and monitors change tickets to ensure progress through the resolution process.
