DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Audit Intern, you will acquire the skills necessary to complete overhead and prequalification desk reviews, create A/E firm PERM files and perform analytics on submissions, and conduct desk review log corrections. In addition, you will perform project work that entails entry level tasks such as organizing audit files, completing data entry, and simplistic task-oriented audit testing. This experience will not only enrich your academic journey but also prepare you for future career opportunities by fostering a deeper appreciation for public service and the complexities of government functions. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time internship that will run from May 2026 through August 2026.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Work hours may vary based upon the position.
- Interns will be headquartered at the DOT office closest to their residence.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Internship Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled or intending to enroll full-time or part-time in a two-year degree, bachelor's degree, or advanced degree program for the fall semester.
- Must be a Pennsylvania resident or currently enrolled at a Pennsylvania college or university.
- In good academic standing (as defined by a GPA of 2.0 or higher).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
