Job Summary The Senior Project Coordinator will coordinate and organize activities surrounding the project cycle while generating cost savings related to assigned projects. Through direct customer contact the Senior Project Coordinator is accountable and responsible for managing assigned projects from initial customer requests through completion. Travel Required: up to 10% Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Direct point of contact for all administrative related tasks on accounts Direct point of contact on smaller accounts / rollouts Offers solutions and requires minimal support from the Project Manager on multiple accounts Administrative tasks include but are not limited to maintaining/updating ERP system with project related information, monitoring/maintaining timelines, assisting in maintaining manufacturing, shipping and installation schedules, providing shipping instructions and customer specific delivery details. Coordinate and organize activities surrounding the project cycle Monitor each project from order entry to completion Provide shipping instructions as required, including customer shipping specifications Ensure that identified issues are reacted to in a timely manner Partner with all functions, especially production, to organize and support critical aspects to meet customer delivery dates Support the Project Management team through, Capturing/Interpreting/Inputting/Maintaining Sales Orders; Input/Participation at production meetings; Maintaining/Updating all project information through ERP system; Ship Schedules; Project/Product expediting; Monitoring/Maintaining critical project/program timelines; and Coordinating shipments and deliveries Develop competencies and technical skills focusing on design, detail, quality and engineering of our products Maintain and manage individual project schedules through assistance in coordinating manufacturing, shipping, and installation Provide customer service, sales support and backup to Project Management Complete individual store quantity take-offs (multi store roll out programs) Maintain and update running inventory reports for team and customer and distribute as required Develop cost proposals for final review by project team Upload and organize various field reports and other information on internal or external web-based sites Assist in managing finished goods inventory related to assigned customer(s) Provide customer service and day-to-day maintenance on small accounts/programs, with limited follow up from the Project Manager
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience 7+ years project coordination/administrative capacity preferably in the consumer environments industry Ability to read blueprints Must have the ability to demonstrate experience in creating and maintaining spreadsheets utilizing MS Office programs: Outlook, Teams Intermediate to expert level of MS Word, Excel is required with ability to implement, maintain and manipulate spreadsheets in Excel Familiarity with MS PowerPoint is a plus An understanding of MRP fundamentals is preferred Highly effective computer skills, with demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems; Epicor preferred Experience in wood/metal manufacturing environment is a plus Must be able to work independently while multi-tasking Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Organizational skills and team player approach is critical, time management, attention to detail, vendor coordination, process coordination High sense of urgency, intuitive, continuous improvement, problem solving skills and Unparalleled Customer Service Focus are of great importance for this role
Compensation & Benefit Information: Hourly Pay Range: $25-30 per hour, dependent on experience* *pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living Bonus/Incentive Pay: A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
