Alloy Products, a division of Wall Colmonoy uses its state-of-the-art laboratory to create a range of specialized products. We make coatings used to make surfaces more durable. We also manufacture brazing products, which are used to join metal parts together. In addition, we produce innovative tools which are used for various applications in different industries. Our 52,000-square foot facility located in Los Lunas, New Mexico houses a dedicated team of 100+ highly skilled professionals and constantly expands its production capabilities. Our products are globally shipped to customers far and wide.

The onsite HR Business Partner is a key member of the leadership team. This position is responsible for leading all human resource functions including staffing, onboarding, policy enforcement, performance management, and labor compliance. In addition, the role holds primary accountability for disciplinary systems and fostering a high-performance compliant workforce culture.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Human Resources Leadership

    • Oversee daily HR operations including payroll liaison, employee records, and compliance.
    • Lead recruitment and talent acquisition strategies for technical, hourly, and salaried roles.
    • Manage onboarding programs to integrate new hires effectively and promote retention.
    • Act as a strategic partner to plant leadership in workforce planning and organizational development.
    • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, retention strategies, and recognition programs.
    • Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, grievance resolution, and conflict management.


  • Policy and Compliance

    • Develop, interpret, and apply site-specific policies in alignment with company guidelines and labor law.
    • Ensure consistent and fair administration of policies and procedures.
    • Maintain awareness of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions.


  • Disciplinary & Performance Systems

    • Administer and maintain progressive discipline processes in a fair and legally compliant manner.
    • Partner with supervisors to coach, counsel, and address performance issues.
    • Facilitate performance evaluation processes and employee development plans.


  • Reporting and Metrics

    • Maintain HR metrics including turnover, absenteeism, safety incidents, and training compliance.
    • Prepare reports for leadership and corporate HR teams as needed.





Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Required

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources management, preferably in manufacturing.
    • Demonstrated success in managing employee relations.
    • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
    • Proficient in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite.


  • Preferred

    • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written communication) preferred.
