Position Title: Warehouse
Wage: $17.50/hour Shift: 12 Hour Days - Weekend Hours: 7:30am - 8:00pm (Saturday - Monday) Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great Warehouse opportunity available at a company in Grinnell, IA. This is a potential to hire position. This position is responsible for accurately filling and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Team members will pick, pack, and verify orders while maintaining organization and cleanliness throughout the workspace. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable with physical work during extended shifts. Apply today! Warehouse Responsibilities: - Read order sheets and accurately pick items from designated shelving - Use handheld scanner to retrieve and track orders - Pack items into appropriately sized boxes for shipment - Verify packing slips match the items packaged - Complete required paperwork for outgoing orders - Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work area - Organize and store supplies as they are received Requirements for Warehouse: - Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Ability to lift 5-40 lbs repeatedly (up to 10 times per hour); team lifts required for items over 40 lbs - Ability to bend, twist, push, pull and crouch throughout shift marshalltown@qpsemployment.com IND097 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
