Title: Geotechnical Engineer Location: Seattle, WA Job Type: Regular Full-time What's the Opportunity? Anchor QEA is seeking a geotechnical engineer with 5 to 10+ years of experience to support existing clients and help expand our geotechnical, environmental, civil, and water resources engineering practices. The position presents an opportunity for the candidate to expand their leadership and mentorship responsibilities and apply their engineering experience to challenging new technical problems. The candidate will work directly with senior company staff and will perform technical work, including technical studies and engineering design related to coastal and waterfront development projects, water resources including restoration projects, slope stabilization and slope repair, and geotechnical issues as well as contractor management and construction oversight. The position will also include opportunities for increasing task and project management responsibilities, along with mentorship of technical engineering staff. While the position will be based in the Pacific Northwest, the candidate will be part of a geotechnical engineering team supporting projects throughout the U.S. and Canada.
