Position Summary:

The Accountant provides support to the Chief Financial Officer by performing basic accounting and bookkeeping functions, such as invoice processing, bi-weekly payroll processing, A/P and Payroll related financial packages and other general ledger related activities for month-end close processing.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 Years college/Technical School/Associate Accounting Degree, BachelorDegree preferred.
  • Two (2) years of hospital accounting experience. Experience in payroll, accounts payable, other accounting duties i.e., Balance sheet GL Reconciliation, Accrual and miscellaneous expense reclassifications, petty cash reconciliation, accounting report preparation, etc.
  • Must have knowledge of computers and business software application programs in health care business environment.
  • May be required to work flexible hours.
