Temp Lab Tech

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Temporary Lab Technician to support laboratory operations at our Sergeant Bluff, Iowa soy oil refinery. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values safety and accuracy, and wants to gain experience in an industrial lab setting while working with a collaborative team.

What You'll Do

• Perform accurate and timely laboratory analyses on production and finished product samples

• Record and maintain test results in the laboratory database with a high level of attention to detail

• Communicate test results clearly and promptly to operations and other team members

• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures to support safe and efficient plant operations

What We're Looking For

• Willingness to work a rotating schedule that includes days and weekends

• Ability to frequently climb stairs and stand for extended periods in a plant environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and safety

• Team-oriented mindset with the initiative to take ownership of tasks

• Clear and effective communication skills

• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
