Coax Splicer Trainee

As a Coax Splicer Trainee, you will develop new skills, work in a safe-minded environment, and join us in expanding technology for a better community. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge.

In addition, you will:

• Work alongside crews in a construction environment, assisting with physcial tasks such as:
  • Digging
  • Pulling and placing cable
  • Loading and Unloading trucks
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. consistently on own
• You will llearn and development skillsets such as:
  • Splice, sweep and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable
  • Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity
  • Utilize RF Meters and TDR (Time-Domain Reflectometers)
  • Read CATV telecommunication design and prints
• Work in outdoor utility construction sites

About You:

• Safety is a part of your day-to-day with a track record of completing high quality work
• You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
• You are looking for long-term projects
• You have experience in CATV installation or other consrtuction, telecom experience
• You are comfortable working on a ladder or bucket truck outdoors
• You are willing and able to work overtime as needed and on-call on a rotating schedule
• You have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record last 3 years (preferably a CDL)
• You are eager to lean, with a good attitude, and help your team succeed

MOS Codes B05A, 3D157, 6423, B05A, and 5699 relate well to this position.
