Cox Automotive is seeking a Software Engineer I to join our Online Vehicle Exchange engineering team.

Job Summary: As a Software Engineer I, you'll work on our Online Vehicle Exchange (OVE) platform. OVE is a 24/7 online source for vehicles from Manheim, independent auctions, commercial and dealer inventory, and more where dealers can search, bid/buy and make an offer on wholesale inventory. Our applications are written in .Ruby/Rails and AWS. We use New Relic, Splunk, and PagerDuty to monitor and alert on our platform. We own and are responsible for our applications from design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Our infrastructure is a built using the latest AWS technologies. We are an Agile team and our engineering organization supports addressing technical debt. In addition to working with Product to prioritize important business initiatives. USD 74,000.00 - 111,000.00 per year Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary of $74,000.00 - $111,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. Benefits: The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
