This individual will be responsible for successfully executing the Redemption process at Manheim Chicago which includes but is not limited to:

  • Proper documentation is completed as it pertains to the lien holder
  • Money Orders/Cashier's Checks are received and processed as instructed by the lien holder
  • Communication with Lot Operations team of incoming Redemptions to ensure accurate and timely vehicle staging
  • Direct customer contact with Redemption appointment customers
  • Managing workload of scheduled redemptions
  • Process redeemed unit paperwork to ensure billing accuracy and timeliness
  • Any other directives passed down by Management


Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; OR 5 years' experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, receptive to change and able to multitask.
  • Prior clerical or administrative experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service required.
  • Must be able to operate adding machines and other office equipment (i.e., copier, fax machine, etc.). Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Communications and Organizational skills required.


USD 22.07 - 33.13 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $22.07 - $33.13/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
