Assistant Director Pediatric Unit FT Day

Our patients receive treatment in a calming and compassionate atmosphere in nearly 30 pediatric subspecialties including a full-service Children's Heart Center pediatric cardiac surgery program. Experienced surgical and medical specialists include a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, a Pediatric Emergency Department, and the only Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in New Jersey with an ECMO unit to assist infants in severe respiratory distress. Children's Hospital also offers a Valerie Fund Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and a specialized pediatric anesthesia and sedation program for children undergoing surgical procedures."

Qualifications:

Required:

• BSN
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Minimum 2 years of recent/current hospital experience in level III or level IV NICU

Preferred:

• Charge Nurse/Leadership experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• NRP Certification

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift, 36 hours
• Full Time
• Monday - Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation
