Location: This position is onsite and may be assigned to any Consumers Energy Service Center located throughout Michigan's lower Peninsula. The selected candidate must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate. GENERAL SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIESThe Property Restoration Coordinator is responsible for the restoration of properties damaged by Consumers Energy field employees. The incumbent is required to investigate property damage, provide permits for contractors, and notify municipalities when restoration is required and completed. The Property Restoration Coordinator is the final contact with the customer; therefore, this role requires strong customer service, communication and negotiation skills. The incumbent must also be able to determine the safest and most cost-effective way to satisfy the customer and is responsible for scheduling orders and managing the workload for multiple contractors in their area of responsibility to insure the on-time completion of customer committed work.
