Overview
DecisionPoint seeks a Campaign Strategist (Journeyman) to lead the design and execution of Special Project campaigns supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP) initiatives under the MODES III contract. This role supports Task 2 Outreach and Engagement services by translating mission objectives into integrated, measurable campaign strategies that require accelerated planning, cross-directorate coordination, and rapid adaptation. The Campaign Strategist defines audiences and success criteria, orchestrates execution across channels and partners, and ensures campaigns are measured, optimized, and documented for future reuse. This position plays a key role in delivering high impact, mission aligned campaigns that support MC&FP priorities. This position is fully remote. Duties & Responsibilities
The Campaign Strategist (Journeyman) will:
Lead design and execution of Special Project campaigns requiring accelerated planning and rapid adaptation.
- Translate MC&FP mission objectives into integrated campaign strategies and execution plans.
- Define target audiences, messaging approaches, and success criteria.
- Coordinate campaign execution across directorates, channels, and external partners.
- Develop campaign schedules, workflows, and coordination plans.
- Ensure campaigns are executed consistently across digital and non digital channels.
- Establish measurement approaches to track campaign effectiveness and outcomes.
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations during execution.
- Document campaign strategies, execution plans, outcomes, and lessons learned for reuse.
- Collaborate with communications, analytics, stakeholder engagement, and digital teams.
- Support preparation of campaign briefings, reports, and summaries for leadership review.
- Support continuous improvement of campaign planning and execution methodologies.
Qualifications
Clearance Requirement Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust from any federal agency. Education (Required) Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, or a related field. Experience (Required)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and executing integrated campaigns.
- Experience supporting accelerated or time sensitive campaign initiatives.
- Experience coordinating campaigns across multiple teams or organizations.
- Experience supporting federal or public-sector campaigns preferred.
Technical Knowledge Required:
- Experience with campaign strategy, planning, and execution.
- Ability to define audiences, messaging, and success metrics.
- Understanding of multi channel campaign coordination.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with digital, content, and outreach campaigns.
- Familiarity with campaign performance measurement and optimization.
- Experience supporting Special Projects or innovation initiatives.
Certifications Required:

- Certifications in marketing, communications, or campaign management
