Summary:

The Project Management Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful execution of projects within the Business Solutions Group. This position works closely with the Project Management team to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope, following established project frameworks and lifecycles. Acting as a backup to Project Managers, the Coordinator assists with planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and quality control throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on ownership and understanding customer needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Management team in planning, prioritization, execution, and delivery of projects to ensure successful closure.
  • Serve as a backup to Project Managers and lead non-complex, small projects following the established project management framework.
  • Facilitate project meetings, capture and distribute meeting minutes, and track action items, risks, and issues.
  • Monitor project plans and artifacts regularly to ensure tasks are completed and properly documented, including project closure activities.
  • Assist with scheduling project meetings and coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
  • Prepare and maintain project reports, dashboards, and other essential documentation as assigned.
  • Contribute to risk identification and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Archive completed projects annually and maintain accurate project records.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, federal and state regulations, and complete required annual training.
  • Adhere to departmental and company-wide service standards while promoting collaboration and accountability.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree OR two years of related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines.

Computer/Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge in Visio, SharePoint, Teams and/or experience with a project management software a plus
