Summary/Objective The Laborer in the Commercial Drywall Division provides general support to drywall crews on construction job sites. This role is responsible for assisting with material handling, job site preparation, cleanup, and supporting skilled tradespeople with the installation of drywall systems. The Laborer ensures a clean, safe, and productive work environment and contributes to the timely completion of commercial construction projects. Primary Job Responsibilities * Assist drywall installers with materials, tools, and equipment. * Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites. * Prepare and clean job sites by removing debris, hazardous materials, and ensuring a safe work area. * Deliver and stock drywall, metal studs, and other materials throughout job sites. * Operate hand and power tools under supervision. * Assist in setting up scaffolding, work platforms, and temporary containment as needed. * Follow instructions from foremen and skilled tradespeople to ensure job completion standards and timelines are met. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools. Other Responsibilities * Support punch list completion and final cleanup. * Participate in safety meetings and follow all safety procedures. * Report hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately. * Assist other divisions or trades on-site when required. * Perform other related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Travel Travel is not regularly required, but occasional travel to job sites within the region may occur. Required Education and Experience - High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
