Description

Responsible for the oversight of Inflight training, while ensuring adherence to all appropriate Company policies and DOT and FAA regulations. Assigns responsibility for the preparation, implementation, and delivery of instructional programs for initial, recurrent, and ongoing departmental training. Works to ensure all Air Wisconsin Airlines' standards are communicated and followed.

Job Functions:



  • Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment, overseeing security functions to ensure procedures are implemented and all applicable regulations and standards are accommodated.
  • Oversees the Inflight Training budget and all internal/external audits.
  • Manages the development, maintenance, delivery, and facilitation of engaging, interactive and meaningful training classes for Inflight, through initial, annual recurrent, and standalone training programs to support the strategic goals of the Company.
  • Responsible for the Flight Attendant Manual and the Approved Flight Attendant Training Programs.
  • Liaises with regulatory agencies, both domestic and international, original equipment manufacturers, our partner carrier, and the Regional Airlines Association (RAA).
  • Evaluates training effectiveness to gain efficiencies and oversees the training records process for the Inflight Services Department.
  • Ensures standards and completion goals are met through the Flight Attendant observation program.
  • Participates in the recruitment and selection process of Flight Attendant applicants.
  • Serves as Emergency Response Corporate backup; reviews and maintains the Inflight Department's emergency response checklists.


Education & Experience:

Required:



  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-4 years' of Flight Attendant experience (must be qualified)
  • Experience presenting training in a classroom setting


Preferred:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of management experience
  • Knowledge of computer-based training systems
  • Problem Solving
  • Analytical Ability
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Communication Skills
