Job Title: Mortgage Quality Control Administrator

Department: Loan Operations

Department Location: Littleton, MA

Reports to: Director, Loan Operations

Onsite Frequency: Works on-site at HQ more than 10 days per month with assigned workspace / Primarily works on-site at a Branch or HQ

Pay Grade: 8

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Pay Grade Range: $24.32 - $30.39

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted pay grade range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.

FUNCTION: Performs various duties to accurately review and audit of residential loan packages.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and audit new loans set up on Core for completeness and compliance with Workers Credit Union standards and Lending laws/regulations.
  • Review and audit attorney closing packages for completeness and compliance with Workers Credit Union standards and Lending laws/regulations
  • Review and audit Home Equity Loans and Lines for completeness and compliance with Workers Credit Union standards and Lending laws/regulations
  • Perform pre-funding and post-closing audits
  • Develop and maintain an exception report for accuracy defect rates
  • Track and upload recorded mortgages, title policies and other trailing post-closing documents
  • Notify management of any ongoing issues or concerns with regard to missing items, inaccuracies, etc.
  • Review and maintain withdrawn/denied reports for accuracy
  • Track missing items and conditions from attorneys and branch closings and document any post-closing trailing items
  • Maintain, review and submit Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) LAR report of all HMDA reportable loans on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Provide the Internal and External auditors with additional information on audited closed loans
  • Complete self-testing compliance audits

Other Duties:

  • May be asked to provide coverage in other WCU branches or departments.
  • Adhere to all WCU policies and procedures which include security compliance and following guidelines intended to limit risk exposure to fraud and losses.
  • Participates in department and/or organizational projects as directed.
  • Performs other tasks or functions as required, requested, necessary or prudent.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all member and credit union information and data.
  • Regularly demonstrates behaviors as defined by the credit union's Fundamentals, which are part of the Workers Way culture program.

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.

Experience:

  • Banking experience preferred.
  • Mortgage Lending/Loan Operations experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies:

  • Knowledge of personal computer applications including Microsoft applications; ability to process quickly and accurately while meeting deadlines.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid Work Environment: This position offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote work with regular on-site days at the Littleton Headquarters. This work environment is subject to change based on business needs.
