WPS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Work Methods & Development Consultant - Operator Qualification Evaluator in our Green Bay, Wisconsin location.

This is a job family (Work Methods and Development Consultant / Sr Work Methods and Development Consultant) where experience is the determining factor.

Job Responsibilities

The Work Methods and Development Consultant will be responsible for Operator Qualification reporting, Field Observations, and Operator Qualification evaluations. They are a technical resource for Operator Qualification related issues. They prioritize Operator Qualification evaluations to meet the customers needs, business goals, efficient use of resources, including tools, materials and equipment. The Work Methods and Development Consultant reports to the Operator Qualifications Manager.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Work Methods Level Requires: 2-3 years Operations or relevant experience. In lieu of Operations experience, a degree is required and a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in teaching/training
  • Senior Level Requires: 5 Years Operations experience. In lieu of Operations experience, a degree is required and a minimum of 5 years' experience in teaching/training
  • Strong analysis, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks under time constraints
  • Experience working with project management methodology beneficial
  • Proficient in standard office software (MS Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of adult learning practices
  • Needs analysis to identify issues, problems and opportunities with client to identify the appropriate course of action
  • Demonstrated people and change leadership capability
  • Ability to perform responsibilities identified in Associate Work Methods and Development Consultant Position and Work Methods and Development Consultant Position

End Date: 01/19/2026

Pay Range Minimum: $76,932.70

Pay Range Maximum: $132,708.94

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
