Who we are and what we do: TennCare is Tennessee's managed care Medicaid program that provides health insurance coverage to certain groups of low-income individuals such as pregnant women, children, caretaker relatives of young children, older adults, and adults with physical disabilities. TennCare provides coverage for approximately 1.7 million Tennesseans and operates with an annual budget of approximately $14 billion. It is run by the Division of TennCare with oversight and some funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Job Overview: The Division of TennCare is seeking a Member Communications Quality Control Specialist for the Compliance and Policy Group within Member Services. The Member Communications Quality Control Specialist will report directly to the Communications and Engagement Administrator and will be responsible for the quality of member-focused written communications to ensure members and applicants receive easy-to-read, clear communications. The Member Communications Quality Control Specialist will ensure communications meet system design expectations through quality control and systems testing. Additionally, this position requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, establish and maintain positive working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, and adhere to deadlines. Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred: business administration, management, public health, health policy, paralegal, or legal studies) and 2 years of relevant work experience; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
