The Special Projects Director is responsible for driving all strategic and operational initiatives within the group. This role requires strategic thought partnership, the ability to lead through influence, and cross-functional collaboration to advance key departmental and Village-wide efforts. The Special Project Director will manage special projects, develop and operationalize team strategy, and ensure the efficient use of resources to achieve strategic goals across the department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership and Support: Provides direct leadership proactively planning meeting agendas, developing content for presentations, and facilitating engagement with senior leaders.

  • Special Projects and Growth Initiatives: Takes the lead on all growth-related initiatives, bridging ideas and fostering cross-team collaboration across DaVita. Manages special projects initiated at a corporate or strategic level, from hypothesis and framework development to execution.

  • Strategy Development and Execution: Helps develop and operationalize the team's strategy. Establishes metrics, tracks progress against strategic goals, and ensures accountability and follow-through on action items among team members.

  • Analysis and Reporting: Drives the strategic process and oversees execution on internal team projects. Responsible for synthesizing data from numerous sources, leading analysis, and translating findings into specific, actionable recommendations.

  • Executive-Level Communications: Prepares and delivers executive-level presentations to brief senior leadership and key stakeholders on strategic initiatives and project progress.

  • Other Duties as Assigned

The Salary Range for the role is $129,000.00 - $205,000.00/year.

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
