A respected medical center serving the local community is seeking a dependable Part-Time Tray Line Cook to support daily hospital food service operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced kitchen environment, values accuracy and cleanliness, and takes pride in contributing to patient care through quality meal preparation. Every tray matters-and your work directly supports patient health and comfort.

Hours & Pay

• Pay Rate: $13.50 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday (varied shifts), with every other weekend required

What You'll Do Each Day

• Assemble and prepare patient meal trays based on printed tickets generated throughout service
• Follow dietary restrictions, portion control standards, and hospital food safety guidelines
• Work efficiently on the tray line during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service periods
• Restock food and supply items to maintain smooth workflow
• Support overall kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, removing trash, and sanitizing work areas
• Collaborate with the food service team to ensure meals are accurate, timely, and well-presented

What We're Looking For

• Cooking or food service experience preferred; healthcare or institutional experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a steady pace
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented work style
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Willingness to work a rotating schedule with every other weekend coverage
