Staff Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K and other applicable filings.
• Support key components of SEC filings, including earnings releases, investor presentations, and proxy-related disclosures, as well as related tie-outs and supporting schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual GAAP disclosure checklists to support compliance with GAAP requirements.
• Prepare monthly stock-based compensation journal entries and maintain supporting schedules, including tracking of equity awards, related activities and dividends.
• Prepare monthly equity roll forward schedules, including share activity tracking and share reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly earnings per share calculations and related supporting schedules.
• Participate in efficiency improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and update documentation for key tasks, procedures, and best practices.
• Utilizes financial reporting and accounting systems, including Workiva, PeopleSoft, Blackline, and IBS.
• Perform ad-hoc projects which require a fundamental accounting knowledge.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from accredited four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance or a related filed; Accounting preferred.
• At least two years of accounting, audit or financial reporting experience. At least one year of public accounting experience preferred.
• CPA or CPA-track preferred

Physical Demands

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
