*LowVoltage Foreman* *Location:* Spartanburg, SC
*Type:* Fulltime / Contract *Industry:* LowVoltage & Structured Cabling Construction *Position Overview* We are seeking an experienced *LowVoltage Foreman* to oversee large field crews (10+ team members) across multiple construction projects. This role is responsible for installation oversight, team leadership, quality control, scheduling, manpower forecasting, and ensuring all work adheres to project specifications, codes, and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with deep knowledge of lowvoltage systems and a proven track record managing crews in fastpaced construction environments. *Key Responsibilities* *Team Leadership & Project Execution* * Lead, manage, and mentor project crews; ensure proper training, performance, and productivity. * Report daily to the Project Manager on progress, challenges, staffing needs, and overall team morale. * Execute project tasks using *LEAN Construction* methods to promote efficiency and minimize waste. * Review and verify completed work performed by Leads and Technicians. *Project Coordination & Communication* * Coordinate daily activities with the General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, and end users. * Maintain clear, professional documentation of conversations with trade partners and stakeholders; relay all updates to the Project Manager. * Plan and forecast manpower, materials, tools, and equipment needs up to *4 weeks in advance*. * Complete and maintain *accurate AsBuilt documentation*, RFIs, and scopechange communications. *Documentation & Reporting* * Maintain and approve daily logs, timecards, task trackers, and related project documentation. * Complete required *PreTask Plans* at the start of each shift and *Daily Reports* at the end. * Review all project documentation, drawings, and scopes within one week of project start. *Quality, Safety & Compliance* * Ensure all installations meet project plans, codes, and industry standards. * Reinforce a strong safety culture across all job sites. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. * Ensure all team members follow company policies, procedures, and appearance standards. *Additional Requirements* * Provide reliable transportation to and from job sites. * Assist Operations with employee performance documentation when required. * Travel may be necessary depending on project needs. *Skills & Technical Expertise* * Lowvoltage installation (CAT5, CAT6, copper, and fiber systems) * Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction schematics * Knowledge of cable codes, industry standards, and termination practices * Strong leadership, communication, and projectmanagement skills * Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities * Familiarity with electrical and lowvoltage environments * OSHA 30 certification (*required*) *Technical Tools & Certifications (Preferred)* * Proficiency with computers, smartphones, tablets * Working knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SmartSheet * Installer certifications from leading manufacturers (Leviton, BerkTek, SYSTIMAX, Ortronics, Panduit, etc.) * Lowvoltage license or telecommunications certifications such as: * *BICSI*, *InfoComm*, *NSCA*, *SCTE*, or equivalent *Experience Level* *Intermediate to Advanced* - previous Foreman or Lead Technician experience managing large crews in lowvoltage construction is strongly preferred. *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spartanburg, SC. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $44.00/hr.
