About the role:

This executive-level roleis responsible forthe second line of defense Compliance oversight of all FIS regulated entities and contractually obligated business units globally. Each regulated entity has anassigned ComplianceOfficer (CO) and, where applicable, a Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) responsible for creating andmaintaining best-in-class regulatory complianceprograms.This position will provide expert leadership, compliance advice and guidance, business support, and regulatory engagement support to the Compliance Officers and their respective teams and will work closely with the Global Head of Financial Crime Compliance. The position reports directly to the FIS Chief Compliance Officer and plays a pivotal role in leading the development and oversight of a robust control environment across FIS' global regulated entity footprint, ensuring continued compliance with state, federal, and international regulatory requirements.

What you will be doing:

  • ManageCOs/MLROsfor FIS regulated entities and relevant contractually obligatedbusiness units.

  • Lead the centralized oversight and managementof FIS' regulatedentity Compliance teams.

  • Develop and implement a frameworkto deliverclarity andconsistencyin processes, controls,governance, reporting and oversightfor regulated entities and contractually obligated business units.

  • Balance the needs of sovereign regulated entities with adherence to FIS parent Companypolicies andgovernance frameworks.

  • Engaging with/reporting toregulatorsasrequired, overseeing regulatory inspections/exams,and supporting COs/MLROs in developing effective strategies to mitigate regulatory risk.

  • Fostering strong stakeholder relationships across FIS todevelopknowledgeand awareness of, and support for,regulated entity compliancerequirementse.g.outsourcing.

  • Leading forthe regulated entities on significant regulatory change programs as required.

  • SupportM&A due diligence andFIS integration efforts with respect tonewlyacquiredregulatedentities,establishingaCompliance program consistent withthe FISCompliancegovernance framework.

  • Serve as an escalation point for theCOs/MLROsfor all regulated entitiesand contractually obligated business units.

  • Coordinateclosely with the Global Head Financial Crime Compliance toensurealignment onrelevant policies, procedures, riskassessments, regulatory change,andgovernance.

What you bring:

  • 15+ years infinancial servicesregulatory complianceexperience, with 5+ years in an executiveleadershiprole, gained at a bank,regulatedinvestment firm and/or fintech.

  • Deep knowledge of compliance program requirementsapplicable to regulated entities, preferably both US domestic and international,covering a diverse range of regulatedcorporateand consumerbusinesses.

  • Proven ability to lead large,geographicallydistributedteams.

  • Ability to align parent companyframeworkandstrategywith businessresources, objectivesand diverse regulatory expectations.

  • Strongstakeholder management skills,executivepresenceand ability to influence C-level stakeholders.

  • Deepexpertisein generalfinancial servicesregulatory compliance,including experience of managing Compliance programs/teamsforfirmssupervisedby one or more of the followingUS and internationalregulators:CFPB,FRB,FDIC, NCUA,FTC, NYDFS,SEC, FINRA, OCC, FCA, JFSC,CBI,CSSF, BaFin.

  • Strong understanding of financial servicesindustryclient andoperational needs, regulatory expectations,and required controls.

  • Experience engaging with regulators.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $236,790.00 - $397,810.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
