Introduction to the job

In Fab products we create software to enable advanced node semiconductor lithography by improving process control. In this team, we develop software to design metrology targets, simulate their measurement performance, and select the best candidates to be used for production.

Role and responsibilities

Research, develop and implement algorithms related to solving Maxwell's equations for metrology simulation. Preparing and presenting a report describing the approach taken.

Education and experience
  • In a M.S. or Ph.D. program, in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related areas.
  • Experience or interest in numerical simulation, modeling, optics or similar
Skills
  • Familiarity with Python or C++ programming in a Linux environment
  • Strong English communication skills

  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • U.S. Flexible Work policy may be available to employees who work in conductive roles. Mutually-beneficial alternative work arrangement must be approved by manager - hybrid working model.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Work according to a strict set of procedures within the provided timelines.
