What to Expect

The Permitting Supervisor crucial to the fulfilment of orders across a broad spectrum of Tesla Energy products. This position will be fully responsible for the performance of the cross-functional teams moving individual projects from order through inspection in each region with an emphasis on permitting & inspection compliance. The Supervisor will ensure that the team is successfully operating and completing all assigned functions and responsibilities within established service level objectives and meeting the set regional targets. Utilizing a servant leadership mind-set and superior communication skills, the Supervisor will provide individual coaching to agents to help them realize their full potential. The Supervisor will dive into individual jobs to review quality and provide feedback. The Supervisor will work to develop process improvement projects as well as ongoing automation initiatives.


What You'll Do
  • Lead the regional team to achieve defined business objectives and performance goals
  • Manage and improve team and individual productivity, including output, quality, and cycle-time performance
  • Reduce rework and delays by identifying inefficiencies and reinforcing best practices
  • Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring, and ongoing knowledge sharing
  • Maintain strong understanding of products and end-to-end order fulfillment processes
  • Use reporting and analytics to monitor performance and drive continuous productivity improvements
  • Partner with internal teams to implement process enhancements that improve customer experience and operational outcomes

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in renewable energy or related industries is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience leading people or teams, with demonstrated ownership of performance outcomes
  • Strong leadership, judgment, and decision-making skills, including the ability to resolve complex or escalated issues
  • Proven ability to analyze data, use metrics to drive results, and provide clear, actionable feedback
  • Self-directed, independent thinker who can operate effectively with limited direction or changing priorities
