Patient Access Manager Location: Dickinson, ND Employment Type: Full-Time & Permanent Direct Placement Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for healthcare operations and team development? We're seeking an experienced Patient Access Manager to oversee registration processes and patient access functions across multiple hospital entry points. This is a high-impact role where you'll lead a team, drive operational excellence, and ensure a seamless patient experience. What You'll Do * Serve as the on-site leader managing 20 direct reports across 5 key entry points: ER, Radiology, Main Registration, Lab, and Medical Office Building. * Oversee patient registration processes, including pre-service and point-of-service financial clearance activities. * Develop and implement strategic action plans for short- and long-term goals. * Manage operational metrics to meet service level agreements and budgetary guidelines. * Lead staffing activities: hiring, training, performance management, and mentoring supervisors. * Foster staff engagement and alignment with organizational mission and goals. * Communicate effectively with leadership and provide solutions for process improvements. * Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. What We're Looking For * 3-5 years of healthcare supervisory experience (hospital or physician practice). * Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management and patient access workflows. * Ability to lead independently with confidence and resilience. * Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills. * High School Diploma required; college degree preferred. * Knowledge of healthcare information systems and operational metrics. Preferred Skills * Clear understanding of admitting, clinical, and financial areas. * Ability to manage budgets and drive cost efficiency. * Strong communication skills for both oral and written interactions.
