Job Overview

Killark is seeking an experienced and driven Project Specialist to directly lead projects of moderate to high complexity with firm timelines. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work with varied functional groups both internally and externally.

A Day In The Life

  • Able to work on complex tasks, lead teams, and manage multiple projects to completion. Consider order through post purchase support
  • Manage the creation of new accoutns with corporate finance, legal teams, and various sales groups
  • Create pricing and product portfolios for significant projects and key accounts
  • Work directly with external customers and end users to understand their project requirements, terms, and timelines. Ensure that we are meeting project deliverables while also operating within our internal operations parameters
  • Create and manage project specific documentation per customer and/or report out requirements.
  • Work with internal production and procurement teams as well as external vendors or partners to ensure the company meets or exceeds project timeline expectations
  • Develop key project standard operating procedures and best practices to ensure each new project is handled at ta higher efficiency than the last
  • Manage project forecast to help drive proper inventory investments, procurement/planning execution
  • Work with logistics partners on incoming and outgoing deliveries
  • Work with internal customer service to ensure proper date management
  • Accept and process purchase orders and assist with all associated changes
  • Develop in dept technical knowledge of the product offering to assist with solutions engineering in both the pre and post delivery project stages
  • Follow a regular report out cadence on project status to internal and external stakeholders
  • Support external stakeholders with marketing materials, samples, and training materials to support collective business growth and new projects.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • 4-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience in customer service or project management
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and build relationships across multiple functional groups within the business
  • Ability to adapt communication style to suit various customer groups
  • Ability to work autonomously, while escalating where necessary, and possess acumen in executing business decisions
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to successfully develop, launch and execute multiple projects to target goals
  • Strong facilitation and organization skills
  • Proficiency with Office Suite, specifically Teams, Excel, OneNote, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
  • Electrical industry experience a plus
  • Bilingual a plus
