The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Vice President, the Project Manager facilitates and coordinates the mandated Community Health Needs Assessments /Improvement plans, inclusive of related sections in IRS Form 990 and reporting of community benefit activities and impact.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor s degree required. Degree should be in a closely related field such as health/business administration, health planning community health, regulatory compliance, accreditation or licensure associate, business development or operations manager.
  • Two years of experience in healthcare project management, health planning, health administration or public health
  • Candidate should demonstrate strong computer skills,
  • Demonstrates proficiency in the use of the office software, Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, database and graphics software and other data software packages,
  • Candidate should demonstrate strong written and oral communication, relationship development and analytical skills,
  • Drafts well thought out, organized and well written documents in a timely fashion
  • Able to obtain the necessary information from outside sources, whether it be outside of the department, or the hospital, in a timely fashion
  • Demonstrates ability to produce alternative solutions and recommendations
  • Demonstrates good judgement in the decision making process
  • Possesses strong quantitative skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external customers,

Preferred:

  • A Masters Degree in Health Administration or Public Health may be considered in lieu of direct experience

Essential Functions:

  • The Project Manager will work with the Hospitals and Corporate staff in supporting capture and reporting of community benefit expense and will develop an expertise in the Lyons Software CBISA aka Community Benefit Inventory for Social Accountability
  • The Project Manager conducts internal and external research for regulatory standards and interpretations; providing data and evidence-based research to assist in Enterprise and facility project design, development and compliance
  • The Project Manager completes health information needs such as health care surveys and program/service/equipment inventories to support functions including New Jersey Department of Health licensure, certificate of need and RFP responses in cooperation with team members, Facilities/Design, Standards and Operational leadership
  • The Project Manager will support Department activities and prepare other necessary applications and plans, including but not limited to: feasibility studies, capacity assessments, license amendments, DOH waiver applications, access studies, market demand, Certificates of Need and RFP responses
