Position Overview:

CSG is seeking a Deputy Program Manager for overseeing and coordinating program activities, ensuring goals are met, and managing resources. Key responsibilities include coordination with program management staff, tracking milestones, communicating with stakeholders, and leading specific projects. Duties include strong project management, financial acumen, strategic decision-making, and leadership experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Program Director in planning, executing, and closing projects through management of specific program areas
  • Serves as backup point of contact or escalation for the Contracting Officers (KO), Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs), the Government Program Managers, and senior management
  • Ensure program stays on track by monitoring progress, managing schedules, and completing key milestones on time
  • Ensures compliance with terms of contract to include SOWs, attachments, appendices, and references
  • Responsible for coordination and oversight for Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) which are complete, accurate, and compliant
  • Act as a liaison and communicate program status, issues, and progress to internal teams, customers, and upper management
  • Support financial tracking, including forecasting, and variance justification
  • Assist with managing program resources
  • Lead or support specific projects, initiatives, and pursuit activities
  • Brief program's status at multiple levels of management
  • Implement streamlined processes and procedures to enable rapid program responses for all requirements
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to program staff, including other managers or teams

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance required at time of hire
  • Must be willing to submit to and pass a CI Polygraph examination
  • Minimum 10+ years of program management and leadership experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Strategic decision-making
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Organizational and time-management skills

Preferred:

  • Majority of professional experience spent in a prime contractor role within the industry/private sector, with direct responsibility for contract execution, delivery, and government interface
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) active certification
  • Experience working in a Cybersecurity Operations environment
  • Experience working with USCYBERCOM Directorates, Cyber National Mission Forces, Service Components, and other Government organizations

Work Environment:

  • This is a full-time, on-site position in Woodbridge, VA. Remote telework is not available
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this role
  • Standard schedule: Monday-Friday, normal duty hours
  • Travel may be required depending on mission needs, up to 15% locally and domestically with periodic Hawaii travel
