Shipper/Receiver

The Shipping Clerk is accountable for shipping, receiving, and materials management.

Job Summary and Responsibilities:

* Ship orders using SAP software, UPS World Ship, Pacejet, or other carrier's programs.

* Receive material, label, and move material to proper storage location when incoming quality inspection is complete.

* Maintain warehouse location accuracy.

* Order shipping supplies including but not limited to cartons, tape, etc.

* Solve logistics issues. Contact suppliers/carriers to expedite late or critical shipments.

* Work in a cross functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrate ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide on-time delivery, quality, and profitability goals. Critical thinking skills are a must.

Education/ Work Experience:

* Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse procedures, shipping, receiving, and material management

* Strong computer literacy required.

* Experience with SAP or a similar system is a plus.

* Understanding of production flow and Purchasing/Production.

* Understanding of inventory management.

* Proven communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

* Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word Skills are preferred.

* Need to be able to lift 50 pounds.
