POSITION SUMMARY: The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations in a dedicated outpatient setting at BMC Health Multispecialty Methuen. As the sole technologist at this site, the technologist will independently manage all aspects of daily operations, conduct a full range of vascular ultrasound exams, support venous procedure interventions, and ensure the highest standards of diagnostic imaging. This role requires a deep understanding of hemodynamics, vascular pathology, and IAC accreditation compliance. The ideal candidate is highly experienced, efficient, and knowledgeable, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and adhering to IAC standards. This position reports directly to the Vascular Lab Technical Manager and the Chief of Vascular Surgery, ensuring alignment with department goals, operational efficiency, and best practices for patient care. The above is not intended to represent an exhaustive list of accountable duties and responsibilities required) JOB REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years performing a full range of vascular ultrasound exams, with specific experience in supporting venous treatments, including venous ablations, in a hospital or high-volume outpatient setting. Education: Bachelor's degree in Vascular Ultrasound, an allied health discipline, or a health/science field. An Associate's degree with formal training in Vascular Ultrasound is acceptable. Compensation Range: $39.90- $57.93This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
