Squad Business Analyst

Ready to lead the OTC workstream for global legal entity creation and restructuring? From greenfield setups to brownfield integrations, carve-outs, and country rollouts, you'll own enterprise structure and OTC design across company codes, sales areas, plants, and intercompany processes-aligned with on-prem transport, security, and operations models.

About the Role:

Solution design (onprem focus)

  • Define IMG/SPRO configurations for enterprise structure: company codes, sales orgs/DCs/divisions, plants, shipping points, assignment rules.

  • Design OTC processes: BP/Customer, pricing/conditions, ATP, delivery/transportation, billing, revenue recognition, returns.

  • Intercompany and crosscompany scenarios: crosscompany sales, thirdparty, stock transfer, internal billing, profit center/segment impacts.

  • SD-FI/CO integration: account/tax determination, parallel ledgers, document splitting, monthend alignment.

  • Localization: indirect tax, withholding, numbering/fiscalization, einvoicing/edocuments via S/4 Document & Reporting Compliance (onprem), country addons.

Integration and technology (onprem landscape)

  • Coordinate with SAP PI/PO (or EDI/ALE/IDoc/API) for partner and application integrations.

  • Output Management via BRF+, print forms (Adobe/SmartForms), and einvoicing connectors.

  • Optional integrations: SAP GTS, EWM/TM onprem; external tax engines.

Data, cutover, and testing

  • Own OTC data migration (Migration Cockpit, LSMW where applicable) and cutover for new entities.

  • Plan and execute unit/SIT/UAT with legalentity scenarios; reconcile to FI/CO.

Compliance, security, and controls

  • Define SoDcompliant PFCG roles, SU24/SU25 authorization defaults, and audit trails for master/pricing/credit.

  • Ensure adherence to IFRS/USGAAP revenue policies and local statutory requirements; support internal/external audits.

Operations and transport governance (onprem)

  • Manage CTS/ChaRM transports across DEV/QAS/PRD; align with Solution Manager/Focused Build.

  • Collaborate with Basis on performance, client strategy, refreshes, HA/DR windows, print/output infrastructure, and batch/Job Scheduling.

Delivery leadership

  • Lead Activate fittostandard, backlog/sprints, design authority, documentation, training, and hypercare.

  • Mentor OTC team; coordinate closely with Finance, Tax/Localization, and Technical Leads.

About You

You're a fit for the role Squad Business Analyst if you have the following required qualifications:

  • 8-12+ years in SAP SD/OTC with multiple S/4HANA OnPrem golives; at least one legalentity creation/carveout or multicountry rollout.

  • Deep SPRO configuration in SD: org structure, BP data model, pricing, ATP, delivery/billing, FSCM Credit Management, Output Mgmt (BRF+), revenue recognition.

  • Proven SD-FI/CO integration and intercompany design.

  • Experience with Document & Reporting Compliance (onprem) and country localizations/einvoicing.

  • Strong data migration, cutover, and reconciliation expertise.

  • Handson with Solution Manager/ChaRM (or equivalent ALM) and onprem transport/control processes.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and workshop leadership.

Additional preferred qualifications qualifications include:

  • SAP PI/PO, IDoc/EDI, API experience; SAP GTS and/or EWM/TM exposure.

  • Tricentis/TOSCA or CBTA; Focused Build; experience with audit/SoD frameworks.

  • Knowledge of external tax engines and regional einvoicing networks.

KPIs

  • Ontime legal entity golives with clean audit results.

  • Firstmonth invoice accuracy, DSO impact, perfectorder rate.

  • Cutover reconciliation parity; defect leakage and hypercare tickets within SLA.

Tools/tech stack (onprem)

  • S/4HANA SD/FSCM, BP, BRF+ Output, DRC (onprem), Adobe/SmartForms.

  • Solution Manager/ChaRM or Jira + CTS; Migration Cockpit/LSMW; IDoc/EDI/PIPO.

For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $88,200 USD - $163,800 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
