Visit us online at: https://www.nwths.com/careers Job Title : RN - Trauma Analyst POSITION SUMMARY: The primary role of the Trauma Registrar-RN is medical record data extrapolation and maintenance of the Trauma Registry. This position utilizes expertise in computer data entry to maintain an accurate database that is utilized for performance improvement activities. Assists with performance improvement activities, information requests, quality improvement studies and research projects as requested. Frequently exercises independent judgment and discretion within agreed upon limitations. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards with all customer groups. PROVISION OF SERVICES/CARE STANDARDS This position utilizes expertise in computer data entry to maintain an accurate database that is utilized for performance improvement activities. Assists with performance improvement activities, information requests, quality improvement studies and research projects as requested. Frequently exercises independent judgment and discretion within agreed upon limitations. Demonstrates proficiency in data collection and analysis. Meets regularly with the Trauma Program Director/Manager. Facilitates and participates in education of staff regarding trauma care. Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team in order to implement and promote improvement in patient outcomes.
