Bindery Operator - Die Cutting & Folding Gluing Machines This role involves operating bindery equipment to process printed materials through die cutting and folding/gluing machines. A high level of mechanical aptitude is essential for machine setup, adjustments, quality control, and material handling throughout production. Your Responsibilities: * Prepare die cutting and folding/gluing machines in accordance with job specifications and company quality standards * Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize downtime * Monitor adhesives and substrates for proper application and consistency * Verify stock type, size, and quantity before production * Ensure dies and tooling are correctly installed and aligned * Visually inspect output for accuracy, alignment, and finishing quality * Collaborate with the Production Team to prioritize and adjust job schedules as needed * Maintain awareness of safety procedures and equipment operation standards Your Shift: * 2nd or 3rd shift but must be flexible to cover where needed You Must Have: * High School Diploma/GED * Ability to set and adjust mechanical components to precise tolerances * Strong attention to detail and basic math skills * Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability * Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specs Requirements Within This Position: * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members * Regularly required to remain in a stationary position during machine operation * Constant handling of printed materials and machine components * Frequent movement throughout the production area * Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25+ pounds regularly We Would Also Prefer: * Strong teamwork and communication skills * Analytical thinking for problem-solving and process improvement * Good color or defect discernment for quality control After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
