Wieland is hiring a Procurement Intern! As an intern, you will gain an understanding of strategic & operational procurement processes at a corporate and plant level and get exposure to a variety of different teams, including Capex, Indirect Procurement, Direct Procurement, and Logistics. This role will sit in Wieland's North American headquarters located in Louisville, KY.

The ideal intern will have an interest in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, and/or the Metals Industry.

Schedule: Anywhere from 20-30 hours per week

Pay: $22/hr.

Length: Internship will last from May through August, with the opportunity for extensions

Procurement Intern Responsibilities:

Support Operational Buyers, Strategic Buyers, and Logistics on key projects and initiatives.
• Analyze data and generate reports as requested by the Procurement team.
• Prepare and present materials and other documentation using MS Office tools and other systems.
• Research market, suppliers, etc.
• Additional tasks as needed.

Procurement Intern Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or other business/operations-focused discipline.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Experience using MS Office Suite.
• Desire to learn & grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
