Join our team in the role of E-Commerce Regional Supervisor to assist and promote our growing E-Commerce Department!

The E-Commerce Regional Supervisor will lead the growth and further development of our e-commerce website, www.shopthesalvationarmy.com. This online thrift store is part of the overall Adult Rehabilitation Centers Command. Our rehabilitation centers are funded by the sale of donated goods in our brick-and-mortar retail stores, our e-commerce store and our recycling operations.

This position calls for high-level analysis along with the ability to engage and motivate front-line staff in multiple locations to drive top and bottom-line performance.

SALARY: $70,304 per year

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Ecommerce Regional Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, scaling, and optimizing ecommerce operations across multiple assigned locations. This role provides both strategic direction and hands-on operational leadership to drive consistent revenue growth, operational efficiency, and compliance with established ecommerce standards and best practices.

The Ecommerce Regional Supervisor serves as a key liaison between field-level ecommerce teams and senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, performance targets, and brand standards, while supporting sustained growth, scalability, and long-term performance of the ShopTheSalvationArmy.com ecommerce platform.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

Regional Ecommerce Leadership & Strategy



  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end ecommerce operations, including:

    • Ecommerce platform functionality and IT systems
    • Payment processing and risk mitigation
    • Posting, packing, shipping, and returns workflows
    • Customer service operations
    • Performance metrics, KPIs, and analytics


  • Evaluate regional performance data to identify trends, risks, and high-impact opportunities.
  • Establish regional execution plans that support month-over-month and year-over-year ecommerce growth.


Field Execution & Revenue Growth



  • Provide direct, hands-on leadership and support across approximately 8+ locations to drive ecommerce revenue through:

    • Increased and optimized product postings
    • Staffing assessments, productivity evaluation, and performance optimization
    • Standardization of photography, titles, and descriptions across all major categories
    • Implementation and enforcement of standardized operating procedures and best practices
    • Identification and elimination of operational inefficiencies


  • Ensure consistent execution of ecommerce standards across all assigned locations.


Team Development, Training & Compliance



  • Train, coach, and support ecommerce supervisors, specialists, and associates within assigned regions.
  • Monitor compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and productivity benchmarks.
  • Partner with leadership and HR to address performance gaps, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support onboarding and training of new ecommerce team members to ensure rapid and consistent adoption of standards.


Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Partner with Directors, Regional Directors, District Managers, and Store Managers to align ecommerce strategy with broader organizational objectives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on ecommerce operations, industry trends, and omni-channel best practices.
  • Provide operational guidance and recommendations to leadership based on field observations and data analysis.


Travel & Onsite Support



  • Travel weekly to assigned centers to conduct onsite reviews, audits, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide hands-on support to address operational challenges and ensure consistent execution across locations.
  • Maintain regular field presence to reinforce standards, accountability, and team engagement.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Strong retail background with demonstrated expertise in ecommerce operations, platforms, and analytics.4+ years Ecommerce experience in apparel and accessories, wholesale/retail environment is preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in ecommerce operations, including online merchandising, fulfillment, and performance optimization within a retail or wholesale environment preferred.
  • Experience supporting or managing multi-location or regional operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, or a related field preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across locations.
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and effective in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database-driven reporting tools.
  • Must possess and maintain valid Driver License


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull, and move heavy objects such as household and office furniture, packages, and all other bulk items.
  • Ability to communicate clearly on the telephone.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks
