• Support testing and test planning and design feedback
• Support software development activities related to operational ground station (Python/C++/Java)

• Handle CI/CD development and maintenance

You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:

• Currently attending and enrolled full time in a related accredited undergraduate program
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
• Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship

• Major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or other related technical field
• Programming experience (Python/C++/Java)
• Linux experience
• Knowledge of and experience with scientific and engineering methods
• Knowledge of and experience with designing, planning, and executing projects with low technology readiness levels
• Interest in multidisciplinary work and ability to team across disciplines
• Self-initiative and self-motivation
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Security Clearance

The Adaptive Integration and Sensing Systems department 6364, is a multidisciplinary engineering team specializing in the capture, dissemination, and processing of satellite data for operational and experimental systems. We have a world-wide network of ground-based processing systems at our disposal and our on-site ground system is leveraged to test new research methods and products prior to customer delivery.
