  • Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for young learners
  • Dependable, organized, and enthusiastic about youth education

Position Overview




Primary Purpose of Position

  • Design and deliver interactive financial literacy lessons for camp participants
  • Teach core concepts such as budgeting, saving, spending, credit, investing, and basic entrepreneurship
  • Facilitate hands-on activities, simulations, and group discussions to reinforce learning
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Supervise campers during instructional periods and assist with transitions as needed
  • Collaborate with camp leadership and staff to support daily programming
  • Maintain classroom materials and ensure activities align with camp goals
  • Uphold all university and camp safety policies, including youth protection standards

Primary Function of Organizational Unit
Focused on the needs of a variety of traditional and non-traditional learners, the Extended Campus unit proactively engages the N.C. A&T community and external collaborators to actuate a bold, transformative education strategy to create online, professional, and lifelong learning opportunities, helping ensure A&T's preeminence within a changing higher education landscape.
Work Hours Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
