Job Summary

The Director, Warehouse is responsible for providing direction and oversight of the Company's warehouses in providing operational support to business units throughout the organization. This includes development and implementation of systems and procedures that monitor cost and inventory to effectively utilize materials, equipment and labor. Responsible for a staff of 20-25 employees throughout the organization who provide operational assistance to all segments of the business.

Essential Functions



  • Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics."
  • Actively support the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values."
  • Identify, recommend and implement processes throughout the Company to best collaborate with Operations Management/Project Management to determine resources needed for projects which supports growth and enhances company performance.
  • Direct and monitor warehousing operations by implementing and reviewing company operational policies and procedures. Responsible for auditing and ensuring compliance.
  • Oversee warehousing operations for all business units and implement cost saving processes that benefit the overall company.
  • Responsible for monitoring, reporting and forecasting all capital purchase for various business units.
  • Build relationships with appropriate levels of operations management to assist in influencing equipment and tooling optimization across the company
  • Identify and maximize opportunities to increase utilization of all company assets.
  • Create standard operating procedures to support all operations.
  • Ensure monthly reporting of cost, revenue and utilization trends of all company owned equipment and tooling and provide recommendations on optimization.
  • Perform additional responsibilities, as directed.



Qualifications



    • 10+ years' experience in warehouse management, with extensive working knowledge of the Company's lines of business.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, preferred.
    • Advanced knowledge of equipment, tooling and cost optimization.
    • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
    • Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and procedures used in the industrial construction and/or tank fabrication fields, highly preferred.
    • Ability to develop and implement new ideas and initiatives that improve the organization's performance. Coaches others to develop stronger change management skills and overcomes resistance to change.
    • Strong safety leadership - will place a high priority on safety, with a continual emphasis on maintaining a strong safety culture.
    • Willingness to travel as needed/required.
