As a Tender Manager, you will be responsible for protecting and driving profitable revenue growth through ownership and oversight of the inquiry-to-order (ITO) process, including price maintenance and risk mitigation. You will act as the primary interface between sales, technical teams, and commercial operations, ensuring governance and integrity throughout the process.

You will also assist in developing and executing commercial strategies for assigned regions and segments, collaborating with global and regional stakeholders to deliver competitive technical and commercial solutions.

As a Tender Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Validating risk and reward balance, considering terms, technical risks, margin, and payment security

  • Promoting Baker Hughes' value propositions to customers and internal stakeholders through solution-based selling

  • Collaborating with Global PL HQ, Global OFSE HQ, and regional sales teams on market intelligence, pricing, and commercial risk

  • Upholding governance of all commercial processes, policies, and procedures

  • Building and maintaining a healthy opportunity pipeline and pricing strategy for assigned regions

  • Developing segment commercial strategies and contributing to annual Commercial Intensity plans

  • Owning pricing initiatives and benchmarking for tenders in collaboration with global teams

  • Ensuring customer requirements are met with competitive technical and commercial solutions at the lowest risk

  • Coordinating across engineering, technology, supply chain, legal, finance, and other functions to optimize profitability

  • Conducting After Action Reviews (AAR) on strategic deals and sharing lessons learned

  • Managing the ITO-to-OTR handoff process to ensure successful execution

  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and process management skills

  • Bring broad experience in ITO processes, P&L management, and commercial discipline

  • Be proficient with commercial tools, analytical systems, and financial tools for margin management and price execution

  • Have technical and commercial experience in a product line

Essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience

  • Master's degree preferred

  • Minimum 4 years in Sales, Sales Support, or Commercial roles

  • At least 5 years of Completions experience

  • Minimum 10 years in the Oil & Gas industry

  • Knowledge of Baker Hughes Completion technology advantageous

  • Spanish language skills preferred

  • Ability to travel up to 10%
