Job Description

Position Overview:

The FP&A Intern will support the Division Finance team in delivering accurate financial insights, forecasts, and analysis to enable data-driven decision-making. This internship offers hands-on experience in financial analysis focusing on key metrics, variance review, capital process, and reporting within a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.
  • Support the development of annual operating plans and quarterly forecasts for the division.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering) to gather data for financial analysis.
  • Participate in capital expenditure reviews and assist in ROI analysis for major projects.
  • Help maintain and improve financial dashboards and reporting tools using Excel and/or BI platforms.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and management decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic modeling); familiarity with ERP systems is a plus (Oracle epm).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Interest in aerospace and manufacturing industries.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
