Job Description:

The Divider Operator sets up, adjusts, operates and monitors the dividers, rounders and intermediate proofer. He/she oversees dough placement into the proofer baskets and will monitor flour usage. He/she will clean all related equipment between changeovers and will assist in placing troughs in the bowl hoist. The Divider Operator takes weights of dough balls, performs quality checks in accordance with standard procedures then neatly and accurately fills out all necessary paperwork. Responsible for area housekeeping and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Functions:

1) Review pertinent information with the previous shift i.e. mechanical issues etc.

2) Calibrate all related equipment

3) Check weights in accordance with standard procedures

4) Set dividers speed, conveyor speeds and flour sifter

5) Fill flour hoppers as needed

6) Monitor and adjust the rounders

7) Monitor dough dropping into the intermediate proofer

8) Communicate with the molder utility during changeovers

9) Neatly and accurately fill out all necessary documentation (Ex. HACCP - CTS)

10) Maintain a safe neat and clean work area accordance with GMP and good housekeeping practices

11) Communicate with co-workers and supervisors

12) Follow all JSA guidelines

Work Conditions:

1) 12 Hour shift. Will receive 3 fifteen-minute breaks and one half hour break. Overtime is required.

2) Environment - Noise levels will be minimal to moderate, and temperature will be controlled. Lighting is sufficient.
