As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related issues or irregularities encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and interacting with visitors as appropriate.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as directed during critical incidents.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Level III armed certification for Texas is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
