Job Overview Perform welding operations on a standard and repetitive line of elements and structures following prescribed procedures. Key Responsibilities Basic welding skills, typically focused on simpler welding processes. Ability to perform basic welds on straightforward joints and materials. Basic understanding of welding safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) use. Familiarity with reading and interpreting simple blueprints or welding symbols. Basic attention to detail to ensure welds meet basic quality standards. Required Skills and Qualifications Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to use and accurately read measuring devices (tape measures). Ability to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.). Ability to follow blueprints. Ability to read and interpret Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency (data entry). Work Environment The position is based in a manufacturing facility, which may involve exposure to loud noises, varying temperatures, and dust from production processes. Associates will frequently work near or with machinery with moving parts, following strict safety protocols. The facility operates on shift schedules with potential for overtime, including weekends, based on production needs.
